During Summer 2015, three science students embarked on a research journey to create labs for future students. Cristina Padovani (left), Medical Laboratory Sciences major is using creativity to develop a variety of lab experiments for non-science majors centered around light and sound. David Chiat (middle), Biology major on the Premed Track, is creating biology labs to analyze the viability of using plant products as renewable fuel sources. Jessica Bursler (right), Medical Diagnostics major on the Premed Track, is creating a pair of labs for the undergraduate Integrated Biology and Chemistry program to examine the micro and macro aspects of carbon dioxide.
